Reading: It's Going to the Dogs

First, I would like to acknowledge that this is not a cute picture, but it is the only one we got of Marco and a dog at the library. There were much cuter opportunities, but none were seized.

We have been having a lot of fun at the library recently. Two libraries that are near us have toddler storytimes once a week in the mornings and now that we have two cars, Alessandro has been able to take him. There is also a pajama storytime I took him to for the first time last week and we saw an animal magician. Marco and I got to rub noses with a chinchilla! This weekend the library had a program where kids read books to dogs. It seemed a little odd to me, but we signed Marco up anyway. He had fun. Didn't really care much about the books, there were too many dogs. I should point out that if you ask Marco his name he says dog, so I am sure he felt right at home. He does know his name, he will say it if he sees himself in a mirror or for a number of other reasons, but if you ask him his name he is always dog. He even did the sign for dog once, so he really means it.
